It’s just a matter of time now. Ontario Bill 88 only needs royal assent and it will be the law. The mechanics of the bill still need to be determined and there will be time for gig providers to comply with the law. There’s no specifc timeline for the Lieutenant Governor General to sign the bill in to law, but it’ll happen before the Ontario Parliament Summer break.
